Relational Tithe is a community, and all are welcome to come and contribute to the community. Unregistered visitors are free to browse discussions and access the Resources section. But if you are ready to begin sharing your ideas, meeting community members, and contributing to the lively conversations, then the first step is registering and creating a personal Profile.

Registering at Relational Tithe is quick, easy, secure, and free. Relational Tithe uses digital certificates to safeguard your private information and will never sell or share your personal information with others.

Once you have completed your Profile you can start interacting with other users on Relational Tithe. Join conversations in the Discussion Room, where ideas are shared, discussed, and refined on topics such as personal budgeting, international development, and spirituality. You can also subscribe to an RSS feed in order stay up-to-date on conversation topics that you are interested in.

Relational Tithe is also an experiment. It is based on the ancient hypothesis that we can live in an economy of abundance, sharing resources with each other through joyful, responsible relationships.

You are welcome to start your own experiment in redistribution by starting your own group and linking it with this global community. Your redistribution group will gain access to the tools and resources of this site and community while remaining free to use your resources as you see fit. All we ask is that you share what you learn with the community so that we can all be sharpened in our understanding of the economy of abundance.

Living in joyful, responsible relationship with each other often calls for more than money. It requires your time, skills, and expertise. If you’d like to contribute to the economy of abundance in this way, Relational Tithe can help.

By filling out a Volunteer Card you can let the RT community know what skills and expertise you have to offer. By doing this community members who are in need and who live close to you will know where to turn. Maybe you are great with kids and would be willing to watch a neighbor’s little ones while they go for a job interview. Maybe you like getting your hands dirty and wouldn’t mind doing some yard work for an elderly couple. Perhaps you are a skilled professional who can lend expert assistance and advice in case of emergencies. Everyone has something to offer. If you haven’t done it yet, create your Volunteer Card now!

Relational Tithe is a groundbreaking network in terms of ideology, technology, and community. If you’d like to get your hands with the guts that keep this network running, you can volunteer your time and expertise to develop or oversee different parts of the Relational Tithe network. Since Relational Tithe is an open source project and community, it depends on the free contribution of its members to improve and expand the network.
