I'm new to this site - joined as soon as I reached the end of "Becoming The Answer To Our Prayers" by Shane Claiborne and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove. Thank you both for writing this book! It has expressed something I myself been struggling to express to others for four years.

I've been ill and returned to the US to stay with my son and recuperate, but my home for the past four years has been in Kasese, Uganda. That is what I consider to be my real home - I'm just a visitor in the US now Wink

Living in community is something that is a real part of my life - how odd that I had to go to Uganda to discover it and how sad that I see so little of it here in this country. I suffer from culture shock when I return to the USA - but at the same time I also realize just how rich my life has been in Uganda. I have received so much from so many there who have so little and in some cases, nothing. That which is given for love of God is truly returned tenfold.
